When framing prints and drawings, our experienced team of picture framers, who all come from artistic backgrounds, can guide you through the picture framing options available and help you decide on the right framing solution for your artwork. A good starting point is to consider the style and feel of the art work and what may suit your interior/purpose. We always encourage to keep things simple. All artwork is framed to conservation standards as a minimum requirement unless specified.

Mounting

There are a number of mounting options available and when framing prints and drawings you should consider; how much of the paper/image (signatures) do you wish to see?, do you want the image window mounted or float mounted?, how much width and what colour would you like any mount to be?, If you need a spacer how deep would you like it and what colour?

Glazing

UV filtering glass and acrylic is available if you are worried about the fading of the image. If reflections are a problem then we can offer anti-reflection glass. For a list of glazing options have a look at our section on Glazing.
