FAQ
Frames generally take two weeks to turn around. If you need your frame faster than this then please contact us. We do have a priority service where we can turn frames around much faster than this for a 40% fee. If you have a large body of work that you need framing, then we will need as much notice as possible.
There are many variables involved in picture framing and materials and labour can vary dramatically from frame to frame. We use a standard pricing method for all fames that is calculated on the size and finish of the frame. If you would like a quote please contact.
If you contact us in advance either by phone or email, then you can come and see us any day of the week.
We don’t have a price list as such. Our framing is all dependent on the dimensions of the artwork and involves the size and type of mount, the frame itself and the type of glazing used. We are happy to send you estimates by email based on your dimensions and specifications. When comparing quotes please rest assured that all our pricing is for Conservation Framing. Please check you are comparing like for like. Our larger frames, for example, may include subframes to ensure adequate strength.
When the job is complete we will email you an invoice with bank transfer payment details. Payment is online via a bank transfer.
We are happy to arrange local, national and international deliveries at additional cost.
We do not build art shipping cases, but we can organise this for you if required.
We have a basic level of insurance. This does not cover us for works of high vale. We strongly advise that you extend your own insurance for artworks of a higher value. Please contact us to discuss if you are unsure and we can help guide you through.
We do not provide a hanging service but we do work closely with a number of art installers that we are happy to recommend.
Yes we do but there is a call out charge for this. Please email us for details.
